PMOL Contest: May the stars help me...

The cold. It wasn't only the fresh air in the caves. This feeling takes place in her chest. 

"I'm so happy Lucy ! Thank you very much for all your advices. I'll never be able to do it without you !"

The little yellow mare jumped on her huge demonic friend to hugged her. Lucy response to this in a reflex and watch the shiny rock above them. It makes like a summer night sky. This was Truffles's favorite place in the underground kingdoms.

"I'm sincerely glad for you Truffles." This was true despite her blurry vision. She hopes these were tears of happiness. Or maybe the cold air in the cave just hurted her eyes.

So many hours passed together in these tunnels to speak about everytings since their childhood. Recently it was most of the time about love. Lucy listen every things her talkative friend needs to tell : her doubts, her fears, her angsts... Her wish to confess her love to Prima Donna. Her plans to ask her on a date. Everythings. And the demonic creature help her so much. Givng her advices. Taking care of the chubby yellow mare when things goes wrong. She help her to forge the courage and the will to finally declare her love to the famous precious popstar. 

Lucy sobed in silence. Truffles was happy. This was the only important things for her. Since she met her great friend Prima Donna. The famous, the amazing, the beautiful Prima Donna. Lucy saw the mutual feelings in their eyes. Even before they both realized it. And she just cannot ignored it. She loves Truffles too much for this. So much she lets her go with some pony else. But the joy of her friend was not enough to vanish the painful void in her heart. 
Please...may the stars help me… Her four eyes followed the luminous points in the darkness.
But there were no stars in this doomed place. Only glow worms for her.

Oh my ! This one was also a nightmare ! Trying to paint light things like glow worm with watercolor is like trying to make light with dust. Great artist probably ba able to do it, but I'm not XD So I just pimp a little my work with digital….shame on me ^^' I also take some liberties with Lucy's design because we never see her in an adult form. I guess she's huge, with a really fluffy but ^^I don't put Truffles's cutie mark because we never see it before. Maybe I could change this later if Lop reveals it.

I'm really sorry for this crappy text, but english is not my native language. And write literature with it is insanely hard for me. I try to keep it short and simple The contest's theme is "Love". I don't know a lot about romantic relation and I find hard to draw or speak about something you don't really know. I think to draw a family related thing but finally choose to draw this. I'm sur if you really love someone, you let them go to their happiness. Even if that is like a little death for you. It's true love for me and one of the greets thing you can make for someone. Lucy is probably great enough to do this for Truffles. And still be happy for her friend despite her own pain.
